Anti Corruption Technique

If you've ever run a business in the Philippines, you've come across these individuals
...they claim they're from such and such gov. office
...and they want to check your paperwork
...then they'll file dubious violations on your establishments

One tactic to discourage these individuals from being opportunistic
...is for you to take precautionary measures




1. Ask for their ID
...this will lead them to think that you won't sit idly by
...and watch them take advantage of you
...get a scan/copy of their ID


2. Write down all pertinent information
...name
...position
...gov office
...day & date


3. Take a picture of them
...this will scare them a lot
...because you can use this as evidence
...when you find out that the violation they gave you was false



Take these steps when you encounter a questionable individual claiming to be an officer of such and such office such as the BIR, City Hall, and even Meralco.

Remember; you're just being protective of your business. :)
